Marla Miller wrote for OC Register’s Coast Magazine for 16 years before becoming Location 3 Magazine’s founding editor-in-chief. Her first bestselling book, the only authorized biography of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team, was published by Simon & Schuster. She teaches at several writers’ conferences including the Southern California Writers Conference and the Santa Barbara Writers Conference where, as assistant director, she created the Young Writers Program for high school literati. She lives in Newport Coast and brought her three daughters up in Newport Beach . Before the writing life called, Marla was an RN practitioner.
